ABOUT US >

Kigamboni Community Charity (KCC) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization based in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam/Tanzania. The Organization was founded in 2007 to reduce poverty and other social problems in Dar-es-salaam particularly Kigamboni districts by offering a range of services to the community. In 2009 KCC was official registered as non for profit organization by the government of Tanzania.

 

For more than a decade, KCC has been implementing a wide range of social programs that aimed to improve the livelihood of the marginalized communities. Through its programs KCC has managed to touch the life of more than 15,000 children and youth through various community based programs basically, Community Rehabilitation Program for the children in conflict with the law; Prevention Violence Against Children and adolescents; Talents development program; Community health program; Culture for peer learning program; An exchange program between children from Tanzania and Germany and establishment of children’s home.
